*A student must be currently enrolled at a tertiary institution.
**To be eligible for the International student rate, you must be living and studying at an institution outside of New Zealand. The first 200 international students who apply are eligible for this special rate.

How to Register
Please click here to register via the online form. Payments by Visa, MasterCard or American Express are accepted (secure transmission facilities provided).
Confirmation of your registration and a tax invoice will be sent upon receipt of your forms and fees. Registration will not be confirmed until payment is received.
Bookings for accommodation can be made on the online registration form at the time of registration. Bookings should be made no later than 17 July 2014. After that date no guarantee can be made that rooms will be available. In order to secure your reservation, we require payment of one night's room rate. Should you need to cancel your registration for any reason, you may reassign your registration to another person. Please notify The Conference Company of the replacement delegate's name and contact details.

If you are unable to arrange a replacement, a refund (the full conference fee less an administration charge of $100) will be made, providing notification is received prior to 30 June 2014. After that date no refunds will be made.
If, for reasons beyond the control of the Organising Committee, the conference is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded after the deduction of expenses already incurred.
If you are unable to register and pay before arriving in New Zealand, onsite registration is possible. Please note all payments received at the Conference must be in New Zealand dollars or via Mastercard or Visa, no other currencies will be accepted. Tickets for the social functions are limited, tickets for these functions cannot be guaranteed for onsite registrations.

All visitors to New Zealand must have a valid passport for at least three months beyond the intended stay in New Zealand.
Citizens of some countries must obtain a Visitor’s Visa. Visa information and the visa application form are available on: www.immigration.govt.nz.
If you require a Visitor’s Visa, please allow at least 5-6 weeks for processing.
If you are a citizen of a country which has a visa waiver agreement with New Zealand, you do not need to apply for a visa to visit New Zealand but you must:
* Hold a valid ticket from New Zealand to a country where you have the right of entry
* Have sufficient money to support yourself during your stay in New Zealand
* Hold a passport valid for 3 months beyond the date you intend leaving New Zealand
* Remain in New Zealand only for the time granted on your arrival
Transit in Australia
If your travel itinerary includes a transit stop in Australia you may need an Australian Transit Visa.

Failure to obtain this visa in advance of your travel may result in you being unable to board your aircraft.
Should you require an invitation letter to support your application for a New Zealand visa, please email us at email@example.com. In order to comply with New Zealand Immigration, invitation letters will only be supplied to attendees who have registered and paid for the Conference. If you have not paid your registration fees, we will be unable to send you an invitation letter.

Late August and early September is the beginning of spring in New Zealand and the average daytime temperature in Auckland is 14°C dropping to 8°C overnight. The currency used is the New Zealand dollar. Banking hours are usually 0900 -1600hrs, Monday to Friday. Automatic Teller Machines are well spread throughout Auckland. International credit cards are accepted throughout the country banks, most hotels and city stores.

New Zealand uses a 240 volt 50 cycle system with 3 pin flat plugs.
Goods and Services Tax
Goods and Services in New Zealand are subject to a 15% tax (GST). This tax is usually included in the price and if not, it is clearly stated. This tax cannot be claimed back by visitors, when leaving the country.
It is strongly recommended that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover the duration of your visit to New Zealand and to protect against cancellation charges, loss or damage to your luggage and personal effects, loss of cash and medical expenses.
Name badges will be given to all delegates on registration. We ask that you wear your badge at all times, including social functions. Entry tickets will be given for all applicable social and optional events.
Car parking is available at SkyCity Auckland. The entrances are on Hobson, Nelson and Federal Streets.
Earlybird parking (single entry and exit)
Available Monday – Friday, enter between 6am and 9am and exit before 6pm on the same day - $14.
First 3 hours $5, then $1 for each extra hour. To access these rates you will need to validate your parking ticket in the machines in the Convention Centre foyers before returning to your car.
Every effort will be made to ensure delegates with special needs are catered for. Should you require any specific assistance, or catering please give details required on your registration form
A taxi fare from the airport to the SkyCity Convention Centre is around $65-$75. Both Regency Cabs and Co-op Taxis offer a meet and greet service. To access this service, fax or email details of your arrival to them (date of arrival in Auckland, flight number, arrival time and number of passengers) and they will arrange for the driver to meet you at the “Meet & Greet” area in the Arrivals Hall. Super Shuttle offers a shared ride option. The approximate cost for the trip from the airport to the city is $33 for one person and an additional $8 for each extra person. The shuttles operate from the Shuttle rank at the airport (not the taxi rank). Bookings can be made on the Super Shuttle website www.supershuttle.co.nz.
New Zealand is one of the first places in the world to see the new day, in February the time is 13 hours ahead of GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).
